About Me
Hi. I am Syed. I currently work at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad as a Research Associate (Data Science and Analytics Center) in data vizualization and Large Language Models. As part of my work at IIIT, I also consulted @ GenePoweRx, working on overhauling their data engineering pipelines, and researching LLM based systems to automate reporting of variant genes. Previously, I interned at Razor Group GmbH, working on the demand forecasting and competitor analysis teams. I also dabbled in Computer Vision as an intern at IITH, working on object detection for the Indian roads.
Research Interest
My interest lies in the thoughtful design of large-scale data systems, including LLM-driven agents. I focus on creating usable systems that help people interpret and act on complex data—often through visual workflows, information retrieval, and lightweight evaluation layers. I care about building tools that makes data work for people.
